My name is Abel Alemu. I have a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance and am currently studying for a master’s degree in accounting and Auditing at Addis Abebe University. I am working as a Senior Financial Officer at an indigenous humanitarian organization called Friendship Support Association. It was my brother and sister who introduced me to Children's Heaven. They volunteered at the organization's summer program, and they encouraged me to come to this organization and volunteer in my profession. I was excited to come and get to know the Staff and beneficiaries as well as learn about the organization's activities. Then I decided to volunteer every Saturday to fill the accountant gap that the organization had at the time. I have been serving on Saturdays for the past 6 years since. I am very pleased with my stay. So far, I have established a good relationship with the beneficiaries of the organization, supporting them in their education and providing brotherly advice. Thank God.
